ABOUT US

American Red Cross Club at UC Irvine (RCC) is a humanitarian organization under the The American Red Cross. Since its founding in 2009, RCC has lived by the motto "Community at Your Service" by uniting the students of UC Irvine to comfort, care, and improve the livelihood of communities in Southern California and around the world.

We have a variety of ways for our members to contribute to the community. One of the most common ways is through service events at organizations such as Hemopet, Shadetree, and OC Coastkeeper. Throughout the year we also raise funds and collect donations for the orphanage and The American Red Cross.

Besides hosting volunteering opportunities, we also encourage our members to meet others who share the same passion for service through our family system and quarterly family and club-wide socials. Since we are connected to The American Red Cross, our club also provides discounted CPR and first-aid courses.
